I’m Leonie D'Souza and am currently exploring opportunities to transition into cybersecurity, with a particular interest in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Risk Management, and related non-technical areas.
I hold a Master’s in Information Technology (Networking & Cybersecurity), completed in 2020 in Australia, and I bring nearly 4 years of experience as a Junior IT Project Manager in the banking sector. My background has given me exposure to regulated environments, project coordination, and risk-aware IT delivery.
While I’m not pursuing a highly technical path, I’m deeply interested in contributing through risk, compliance, and governance-focused roles. I’m currently preparing for the ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) to strengthen my understanding of core cybersecurity principles.
I’m seeking an entry-level opportunity where I can grow through hands-on learning, mentorship, and meaningful contribution to a security or risk team.
