The Space Dynamics Laboratory is seeking an experienced Secure Systems Administrator (NOT Remote Eligible, must be on site) to help design, implement, secure, and maintain systems, associated applications, services, and components at our North Logan, UT and ABQ, NM locations.

Preferred Qualifications (one or more of the following):
BS degree or equivalent experience in information technology, computer science, information systems, engineering, or related computer field
Currently hold an active secret security clearance with the ability to obtain TS and SCI upon hiring
Active CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification that meets or exceeds DoD 8570 IAT Level II (or be able to obtain within a maximum of 30 days after hire)
5+ years of IT specific experience (systems administration related) on top of degree
Experience with DoD mission operations networks
Solid Knowledge of DoD Security Requirements within classified spaces
Scripting knowledge in various languages such as PowerShell and bash
Automated deployment experience with tools such as Ansible
Experience with containerized platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift
Knowledge of Linux environments to include CentOS, RHEL, and Ubuntu
Experience with maintaining core network services such as Exchange, VMWare ESXi, Active Directory/LDAP, web servers, DNS, patching, DHCP, configuration management, workstation deployment, storage and backup solutions, routing and switching, firewalls, etc.
Understanding of information systems security best practices and use of security tools such as Nessus, SCAP, and applying STIGs
Active TS/SCI with favorably adjudicated CI Poly
