Seeking Information Security Job

Hi,

I am currently looking for job opportunities in Information Security field. I have 17+ years of overall IT experience with VCP-DCV6.5 certification and a Specialist diploma in Information Security and governance from Nanyang Polytechnic Singapore. I have 9 year experience with Checkpoint and PaloAlto firewalls, with System and networking (Cisco Meraki) and completed my CISSP training and Splunk training.I am currently looking for opportunities in Information and Cyber security and deeply appreciate if there would be any help

@ajohn Ok, I have no idea what a "VCP-DCV6.5 certification" or what a "Specialist diploma" is, nor where you are, but I would guess Singapore.

Would recommend obtaining entry level certs like CompTIA's Sec+, Net+ and ISC2's CC.

Would highly recommend networking with local infosec professionals in your area.  Look for local chapters of ISSA, ISC2, and ISACA.  Networking is a great way to find out about local opportunities.
