Hi all,
After getting my CISSP in 2013 I began working in Cybersecurity as a security assessor for one of the federal agencies located in Washington DC. It was a post to one of the ISC2 job boards that got me in touch with a project lead who hired me a week after I posted so I am very grateful to this community.
The federal job cuts last week impacted my entire team. I am currently looking for new opportunities in cybersecurity. My main focus areas are security assessor, ISSO, ISSM or ISCM, Sys admin roles as that is the bulk of my experience for the last 12 years. I am open to other areas within IT as well.
Any recommendations are appreciated.
