What you’ll do:

As an associate engineer you will work side by side with engineers and clients that are changing the world across industries such as healthcare, private equity, manufacturing, utilities, government, outdoor recreation, and everything in between! You will develop skills skills in sub-disciplines of infrastructure and cybersecurity, and have opportunities to quickly grow into more advanced roles. This is where you'll cut your teeth in the exciting and ever-developing world of cybersecurity and infrastructure professional services.

Some specifics:


  • Research and explore emerging technologies at all layers of the technology stack, including systems, networks, and applications
  • Analyze and improve infrastructure and application cybersecurity, performance, and availability
  • Draft high-value, detailed documentation on everything from technology reviews and incident findings to application vulnerabilities
  • Use a variety of opensource/third-party tools to assist in detection, prevention, and analysis of cybersecurity threats
  • Conduct periodic system and network vulnerability scans using tools such as Nessus, Nmap, and Wireshark
  • Support incident response and disaster recovery exercises and real events
  • Build relationships with existing clients and obtain new clients of your own, leading complete sales cycles, including proposal writing and closing the deal!

What you’ll bring:

  • An independent mind that knows when to ask for help
  • Interest in consulting, and proven relationship-building skills
  • A 2-year degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, or electrical and computer engineering, or demonstrated experience that makes you a home run for this position.

  • $60,000/year - $85,000/year (depending on applicant's credentials and experience)
