I would like to take the CCSP exam. When looking at the text books for the self study option, the link goes t this book:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/1119909376?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_FW3YDWHQTHXSZ0YD1F47
However, in the description, the first sentence is:
The only official study guide for the new CCSP exam objectives effective from 2022-2025
Now that it is 2026, are there plans to update this text, or is this still the correct one to use?
Thanks!
Jonathan Calloway
@jonathancallowaI work with our people on studying for and passing cybersecurity exams. Sybex is the official publisher for ISC2 study guides. Their site will show if there is a newer study guide, and there is none listed. That is interesting with the date on the new exam outline of October 1 but may be minor changes. I did read the study guide for mine. Ben Malisow was the author on that one, and the current author is Mike Chapple. That being said, I passed mine using the exam objectives (outline) and no cost materials from CSA (Cloud Security Alliance) and NIST. CSA helped ISC2 develop their CCSP and ISACA their CCAK. Please feel free to ask questions. Best wishes.
@jonathancallowa That is the most recent book.
Maybe @CBMExamTeam could chime in and let us know what the plans for an update are.
