What is the general consensus on the idea of CCSP concentrations? I know the foot print for CISSP concentration holders is quite small and often fills very specific business requirements. However, a CCSP-ISSEP or SSAP seems like it would provide value to the industry. Obviously, securing cloud environments is more expansive now than ever thanks to COVID forcing some businesses business to migrate to the cloud sooner than planned. Thoughts?
I think a CCSP concentration, especially around architecture, would be useful.
But before focusing on that ISC2 needs to solve the challenge of how to administer the tests during this pandemic period. I am tired of being rescheduled.
I think it is a good idea to have a Cloud concentration. Many CISSPs are pursuing CCSP certification. I think there should be a path like after a CISSP has acquired CCSP credentials, they should be able to work on the MCCSP, like Master's. It will really help as recruiters are confusing CISSP and CCSP and some are neglecting CISSP and seeking only CCSP certified experts.
