Just checking in, I suppose.
The Vancouver, BC, Canada chapter has been active for three or four years, now. We meet monthly (with a few exceptions), in collaboration with the Vancouver Security Special Interest Group (Van SecSIG) and the Vancouver ISSA chapter. We are listed in the chapter directory, and have a Website, listing events as well as other news (such as security related events and other groups in the Vancouver area).
Our next meeting: Feb. 9:
Topic: Legal concepts for infosec mavens

We also Webcast our meetings, so that remote members (and others) can attend. If interested, Please register by sending an email to van.secsig@gmail.com with the Subject line: February 9, 2018 + Your Name. We will email you the YouTube URL (just) before the meeting. While you are welcome to share your display with colleagues (but remind them to abide by the confidentiality rules set by the speaker for the meeting), please do not forward the URL to others (instead, ask them to join VanSecSIG and register directly for the video broadcast).
Thank you Sir!!
Quite welcome.
You can check out our events at our Website: http://www.infosecbc.org/
Since we don't charge for membership, anyone is welcome to join. Just send us a message from our Contact page.
Hi There,
My name is William Guilherme and I am Security Engineer with Proofpoint.
I am wondering if the chapter is willing to accept sponsorship and what the process would be?
Thank you
William Guilherme
