One of the things that you can do while awaiting an interesting topic via ISC2 chapter agenda is to subscribe to podcasts that hit that subject pretty hard. Podcasts are really contributing to my professional knowledge base.
We are talking about BlockChain Technology, On August 8, 2017 Jay Ranade presented in depth Blockchain technology and implementations at our chapter meeting.
It was a hugely successful meeting and ~80 people attended.
We are, the Chapter Switzerland, going to talk on the topic at our "Chapter Security Conference 2018". So, you are very welcome if you are passing by Zürich in September!
Follow-up: the details of the event can be found at our event page.
Translation of the agenda for non-Dutch readers:
|17:30||Registratie en broodjes||Registration and sandwiches|
|18:15||Blockchain vanuit de techniek||Blockchain from a technology perspective|
|19:00||Blockchain vanuit de ISO||Blockchain from an ISO perspective|
|20:00||Blockchain vanuit auditing||Blockchain from an audit perspective|
|20:45||Mogelijkheid tot discussie / gesprek / vragen||Discussion / conversation / Q&A|
|21:00||Napraten en borrel||Networking with drinks|
Not yet, but we've had questions come up at a few meetings where people have queried blockchain against other technologies / presentations that were being discussed.
We're looking for an opportunity where we can have someone come in September to present about blockchain and crypto currency.
