Newbie

Hi  Everyone,

I'm a non IT mid-career professional looking to transition into cyber security. I currently hold a Net+, Sec+ and I've recently recently passed my CISSP exam. I'm looking to become a Junior SOC Analyst or something similar, any advice?

thank you

Have you consider the SSCP?  If you passed the CISSP, you should be able to do that and attain the cert potentially.

The market is strong for entry level security people and I would think someone with experience would be highly valued (other job experience).  The government agencies are hurting for talent as are SIs.

I haven't considered it as I'm still learning to navigate the industry. I will definitely look into it. Thanks for the feedback.
