Have you signed up as a volunteer? If so, you are automatically in the pool for any certifications that you hold. If you haven't, make sure you sign up. 🙂
@ToniHahn, I had sent an email to email@example.com in April 2018, volunteering for exam development. Is this the same thing, or do I have to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org as well?
(Assuming the former suffices, is signing up a one-time thing, or would I need to send another email?)
I was there with you and echo what you say. It was my first and I was concerned about being in over my head but what an enjoyable experience. I have already decided that if necessary I will take time off to attend this in the future, my boss allowed me to attend on company time but in case it changes. I have already been contacted and will be attending the CISSP Item Rework workshop 18-20 Feb 2019. Look forward to it and meeting new people again.
I will be attending an upcoming one so don't give up hope @rslade.
I can't remember when I volunteered but one day an email showed up and I responded quickly and got in.
I am excited to see what happens.
Great to hear so many positive experiences!
I have expressed interest in the past, and submitted interest again for 2019.
Used to write test questions for Cisco, CCNA so looking forward to future opportunities to help the ISC2 community!
Attnded the ISC(2) CAP Item Writing Workshop held last month. Overall had a very enjoyable experience. It was really nice meeting and associating with folks from differing work backgrounds. Have to say that I was little apprehensive about attending, but quickly felt at ease due to how well things were organized, and just how nice everyone interacted. Can honestly say would jump at the chance of doing this again.
