Hi Richard,

Nice to see you in the community. I am a SAP Security professional - was looking for someone in my area.

I believe, there is a strong need for interaction between SAP Security professionals and other security areas. We must understand the security of integration points between SAP and the peripheral environment - the network, databases, servers, operating systems, the cloud environment and other interacting software systems. There is a great deal of expertise in both areas, but not as much in the area of integration. If there a breach in the periphery, how it may impact security of SAP? What can be an additional layer of security that can be  implemented within SAP to defend against such breaches?

Let us have a special thread to discuss such issues.

Finally, I would like to join you to welcome SAP Security professionals to the forum.
