@AndreaMoore set up an open group hub for current and former military members, the Military Veterans Group.
The group description says,
"Those with a background in a military career (past or current) have unique experiences and accomplishments. Many veterans are considering careers in cybersecurity. Please use this group as a location to connect and collaborate with others on how they found success in cybersecurity. We thank you for your service!"
If you do or have served in the military, for any country, please link to that page and join. I imagine the membership and discussion will be dominated by USA members, but hope to see international participation, reflective of the (ISC)2 membership.
Once you join you will see it listed on the right side of the community home page, not in the drop-down menus at the top.
