Job oppurtunities

I started studying the cc certification content and Ive  finished. Is the knowledge I've learnt from this enough to get a job and if so, what job? Keep in mind that the only things i know regarding cybersecurity are from this program, nothing else. I have fundamental knowledge of networking. I've never done anything hands-on and have no experience whatsoever.

if i cant get a job with this, then what more do I have to do and learn to get the most basic cyber security jobs, the kind i can maintain while going to school?

Really it just depends upon your personal goals, area of interest & geographical location

Geographically you may want to start by listing the economic industries where you plan to live and attend school.  Then network with employees about their satisfaction and look for entry level positions in those industries that tickle you with passion.

For example, if you live in Texas where oil is gold, you might want to start with ICS-Industrial Control Systems (SCADA, DCS and SIS).  However, if you plan on starting a family.. being out in the field or on an ocean rig may be something you wish to steer away from.  If you have never been outside your parish, perhaps military service will help define your direction with the largest level of technical experience by AF/Navy/Army/Marines.

It is hard to tell what you like until you have the experience.  So enjoy the process!
