I have 7 to 8 years of experience in IT, starting from, Network Technician, Help Desk Support, Network Adminstrator to IT Manager for small company. I have cleared my CISSP exam last year and i have cople of AWS Certifications. I want to get a job in Infomation Security domain but all the jobs require number of years of experience as Security Analyst. What courses and skills do I need to get the security analyst or related entry level job in Information Security?
I'd have thought a reasonable approach would be to look for a role as a security engineer as your current experience in networking and administration should be easily transferable.
One way you can do that is when you look at the job description, see what kinds of skills they are looking for and read up on those. Generally with your experience you should be able to get a job relatively easily. Remember getting a job is 95% if they like you, cause everything else at your level can be taught. Stay postive and know that when the right one comes they don't even really ask many questions and you will know.
i am preparing for CCSP now, hope this will also help me to get closer to what I want.

Does that mean you passed the exam and were granted the certification? I would assume that you met the requirements, but it sounds like you might be working towards them. In any event there are lots of roles out there. For example look at the intersection of network administration and AWS solution architecture. The demand for Cloud security specialists is unprecedented right now.
