Constellation West is seeking highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Policy Officers to support the USSTRATCOM/J65 USCYBERCOM mission by accomplishing Chief Information Officer (CIO) policy analysis and development. This effort includes reviewing and analyzing new Federal and DoD policies in relation to the CIO competencies, recommending USCYBERCOM responses to changes in higher-level policies, and developing USCYBERCOM CIO policies to ensure compliance with CIO responsibilities.
This exciting opportunity is located at Fort Meade Maryland and is scheduled to begin on December 15, 2017 with a term of one (1) base year and three (3) option years. The preferred candidates will have the following requirements clearly documented in their resume:
- Have minimum of twelve (12) years of experience as a Cyberspace Policy Analyst or related functional area and minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- The capability to assess higher level policy and develop USCYBERCOM CIO and cybersecurity policies IAW higher level policy.
- Assess gaps in existing USCYBERCOM policy and propose amendments to existing policy or new policy to address these gaps.
- Participate in the development and implementation of enterprise-level (Command, Service, DoD, or Federal Government-wide) policy directives and other guidance materials.
- Disseminates policy directives throughout the Command, including the development of supplemental guidance materials essential to ensure affected organizations’ understanding of implications for their operations, and full and proper implementation.
Cybersecurity Policy Officer Level IIIs shall have minimum of twelve (12) years of experience as a Cyberspace Policy Analyst or related functional area and minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
CISM or CISSP or GSLC certification required
Note: A Top Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). All personnel working on this contract must submit to and obtain a Counter Intelligence (CI) polygraph examination within 60 days of award
