hello everyone,
I have extensive experience in sales and recently i decided to enter the tech sales industry as BDM, will acquiring cc certificate help me in landing a job as BDM?
Thank you.
The CC is sort of a primer security certification and will provide you with a broad, but not deep, exposure to cybersecurity.
You will learn the principles and concepts of cybersecurity including governance, risk management and treatment, security and access controls, along with an overview of network infrastructure and design, including cloud terminology, network threats and prevention, and operations background. Plus, you will learn about business continuity components along with recovering from disasters. The operations portion will introduce you to encryption, data handling, system hardening, change management, and privacy.
You have decided to enter business development management.
You’ll need some business background and analytics knowledge in addition to soft skills (presentation, negotiation, collaboration). You’ll need familiarity with spreadsheets, presentation and analytics applications, and databases. You may also want basic project management skills. For your writing skills, you could utilize AI. You should already be familiar with customer relationship management apps like salesforce.
Now, you’ll want to choose the business sector you’d like to work in: financial services, education, government, healthcare, technology, legal, etc.
You’ll need to know the market you’ll be entering. Know current trends, market gaps, and who the main businesses are. And be looking into the future. Form strategic thinking.
And be thinking of the value you will bring with you. From there, you’ll want to study their products.
CC is free to study for and certify at this time. It is a great choice! You can’t go wrong with it.
To keep your certification, you’ll need to commit time for continuing education and pay maintenance fees.
Best wishes!
