Do you received CPEs for watching the recorded past webinars like Think Tank via BightTalk? When watching it mentions but is that only if you watch live?
Best Regards,
Dan
Both live and recorded are equally eligible for CPEs and are equally able to be "submitted on behalf".
Do you have to do anything after watching them to receive credit, or does/will it automatically be submitted?
Thank you in advance!
I have the same question. I think the webinars are a great way to learn, and I need the CPEs. I watched one, but it didn't ask for member ID or provide a certificate of viewing. I don't want to lose the CISP due to a misunderstanding.
Hi all,
When you subscribe to an ISC2 Channel on BrightTALK, you'll be asked for your ID #. If you've already subscribed and didn't provide it, the activity will not be automatically submitted. There's no way to add an ID # retroactively, unfortunately. We've tried to find a solution, but ultimately this sits with BrightTALK and we are not in control.
You can always create a new BrightTALK account that is specifically for ISC2 CPE capture and subscribe to channels fresh, providing your ISC2 ID #. Then all viewings will be submitted to your member account on your behalf. It usually takes 5-10 business days for them to show up.
If you watched one in August and it's not on your portal, you can assume it will not show up and is not being sent in on your behalf. You can always manually submit your webinar viewing activities using the viewing certificates BrightTALK issues.
Hi @Kaity
Thanks for the reply, I watched it 5/9/2024 and it hasn't shown up. Perhaps I forgot to login, I'll watch out for that next time.
I'll add it manually, though I don't have evidence. I know I watched it 🙂

Login to Bright talk: https://www.brighttalk.com/login. In the top-right corner is a pull down menu, "My account". On it is "recently viewed". From there, you can download viewing certificates, presuming you were logged in at the time.
You can either download and attach to your CPE report (in which case audits succeed with no involvement on your part), or you can do it when/if you are audited.
