Hello Members,
I have recently taken CISSP and I would like to know whether taking another ISC exam like CISM or CISA would be enough to get enough CPE points (120) to automatically maintain CISSP ?
Looking forward for your valuable information.
Thank you
Regards
PJ
Hi PJ!
You don't earn CPE credits from taking the exams, but rather for preparing for them. And your 120 CPE credits to maintain CISSP are due at the end of your three year cycle, so you've got plenty of time.
There's a great thread our Community members have put together on that over here - https://community.isc2.org/t5/CPE-Opportunities/CPE-Questions-Read-This-First/m-p/38676#M282
CISM and CISA are ISACA exams, rather than ISC2 exams.
You could claim CPEs by studying for CCSP, ISSAP, ISSEP or ISSMP concentrations or the CCSLP if you wanted to stick to ISC2 exams.
Thank you Steve,
How do i show that I have completed the CCSP study ?
Please advise.
