Hello,
I am an ISC2 member and have multiple certifications. However, when i am trying to submit CPE, i keep getting an error message, "Dates are not valid Start Date must be 2026-06-01 or later."
It is likely hitting a bug/error, as I my CCSP cycle is complete, and the new one does not start until 2026-06-01.
However, my CISSP cycle is still ongoing, and I needed to submit CPE credits towards it.
Anyone else hit similar issue and how to resolve?
Thanks!
Yep, looks like a Bug! I am getting the same error!
Possibly related to AMFs - are you up to date on those?
Otherwise, if your CCSP cycle is complete and you don't need anymore CPEs for that, can't you just not select any CCSP domains during the submission process, then the CPEs won't be applied to the CCSP?
BTW - I made a strategic decision just to earn auto-submitted CPEs a couple of cycles ago to avoid having to use the portal and face issues like this!
AMFs are up to date, and Cycle isn't complete. Its definitely a bug...the start date range required is very specific and anything you enter encounters the error...I suppose we need to wait for ISC2 to sort.
Auto-Submitted CPEs sounds interesting though!
Yeah, things like the ISC2 Insights CPE quiz, webinars from ISC2's BrightTalk channels, and ISC2 training courses all submit the CPEs you earn for completing those activities automatically on your behalf.
There are other third-parties that do this for you too, but I generally stick to the official ISC2 options.
Just an FYI incase others stumble across this issue. Support have indeed confirmed its a bug.
"The issue has been caused by a known issue (caused by cycles started early due to requirements of previous cycles being met) that is already with the website developers for investigation and fix.
We are expecting an update on this within the next 7 working days"
So sit tight and let them do their thing!
