CPEs for self-studying CISSP before Taking the test

Dear all,

can I get 40 CPEs if having prepared 5+ days (40+ hours) for the CISSP Certification prior to having the successful examination?

Preparation ended just before the examination started - here are more details:

Self Study: Oct 27 2022 - Nov 1 2022
Certification Cycle: Nov 1 2022 - Oct 31 2025

Certified: 2022

Thanks in advance,
Rainer

CPE handbook, Page 5:

As a member, ISC2 certification schemes require you to earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits during your three-year certification cycle.

So, no.

If you hold multiple ISC2 credentials, you may be able to apply your study for the newer credential towards the CPE requirement for the older credential.

Thanks for your reply. Just wondered if the following on Page 7 of the CPE Handbook could be applied in my case above: "If the CPE activity occurred over multiple days, the end date is used to determine eligibility for the certification cycle. For example, if the activity started on 1 November 2023 and ended on 5 December 2023, the CPE credit
can be applied to any cycle that was active on 5 December 2023."
