Passing the test

Hello all, hope everyone is having a great day.

I have taken the test twice so far and have failed twice, I have had to take all 150 questions each time, did better the second time than the first, but still no cigar.

I am looking for ways to get a study group near me going, I am in Charlotte NC, I can be reached through email (twcceohv@gmail.com) I am scheduled to take the test in November and would like for the third time to be the charm, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The hardest part is staying focused and calm, remember to read through
every question like your a forensics investigator.

I don't do well on tests even though I know the material. I freak myself out. I'm taking the test for the first time this Friday. What do you feel is the hardest part for taking the test?

The best advice I can give anyone taking the CISSP exam is that you need to pay special attention to key words like best, most, and least in questions.

While there are technical components to it, overall this isn't a technical exam where everything has a clear right or wrong answer. The questions are often higher level and require consideration and making a decision based on context of the situation presented. This is a skill that is desperately needed in most tech-focused IT orgs I have seen.

Take the time to read the questions very carefully and use your knowledge of the materials plus your real-world experience to arrive at the answer.
