I'm also doing mine in October. I've gone through the self-learning material. Not as hard as I expected it to be. Would love to hear from someone who has taken the test recently to know some feedback and tips.

@Govdelayd87 You will not find a lot. I was able to pass using the NIST documents, but ISC2 has tried to add some other frameworks since then. Definitely do not spend money on the only CBK. I waited until it was released and was no relevance to the exam at that time at all. I used to bring in the best expert in the World on it and the RMF for our folks, but even he has decided to stop teaching it with the current changes. This is what ISC2 recommends: https://www.isc2.org/certifications/references#CGRC Also keep the exam objectives with you for reference on what expected to know and to identify knowledge gaps. Best wishes.

@Govdelayd87 I have helped our GRC folks for years. So I didn’t really need it for any kind of career advancement but knew the subject. Knowledge on frameworks is definitely a niche. It was more difficult in some ways for me because is definitely not a technical exam. I have never really looked at it in terms of my career. It did give me a good basis for my ISSEP and CISM because of the focus on frameworks and GRC. My certifications have mostly been because I help others attain theirs as part of my job and then think that should try that.
