UPDATE: Voting has closed for this year's Board of Directors Elections.
It’s that time again – Board of Directors Elections!
The 2018 (ISC)² Board Election will be conducted over the course of two weeks beginning on September 5, 2018 8:00am EST and ending on September 19, 2018 5:00pm EST this year. All (ISC)² members in good standing as of May 8, 2018 and the date of the election September 5, 2018 may participate.
There are four board seats open this year. The candidates have received the endorsement of all current members of the Board of Directors. The slate of candidates bios are available for your review, and as an added benefit there is a special board in the Community where you can talk to the slate of candidates! Please note, this area of the Community is only for (ISC)² members, as you are required to be a member to participate in the election.
The Board is comprised of 13 (ISC)²-certified information security professionals from around the world representing academia, private organizations and government agencies. The Board provides governance and oversight for the organization, grants certifications to qualified candidates, and enforces adherence to the (ISC)² Code of Ethics.
Board members serve as volunteers and represent the membership as a whole. Terms are for three years and they are staggered so that only one-third of the Board members stand for election each year. If you have any questions about this or are experiencing any issues with accessing the board if you are an (ISC)² member, please leave a comment here, reach out to community@isc2.com, or message me directly.
