Ive been working in IT for 30 years or so as a limited company contractor earlier on and morphed into a small MSP in the last 15-20.
Needless to say as part and parcel of that time securing my clients' systems has been given rather than some sort of late 'oh! that's a good idea' enlightenment!
Trouble is the admission process seems to be geared very specifically to those who's careers have been made visible by employers' administration records , performance reviews etc.
My attempts to get a handle on this via the ISC2 office has just produced a standard 'speak your weight' response from someone who is undoubtedly a very good admin but has no insight into the situation surrounding what I am describing here.
I passed the CISSP just a bit before Russia invaded Ukraine , my fear is that the shelf life of my eligibility will expire before the war does...
So, what can I do?
