Hello everyone,
I know that (ISC)2 has implemented a mandatory work from home policy during the pandemic and I wanted to know if this will effect the time taken to approve certifications. I was endorsed by an (ISC)2 member 3 weeks ago and am still awaiting approval. I realize this can take up to 6 weeks, but am wondering if it could now take longer due to the extreme circumstances.
The only reason I am now hoping to get this ASAP is that I want to offer free security consulting services to small businesses with getting their employees securely working remote until the outbreak is over. I have a full time job at a software company, so this would just be my personal effort to help businesses in my area (at no cost to them). It would be greatly beneficial to be able to use the CISSP in my name to earn trust while doing this for them.
