CISSP Endorsement Years of Experience Requirement

HI community,

I am wondering does the years of experience requirement count by the exact months?

I started working in the cyber security industry in Feb 2018, and before that I had a master degree in information security. So technically I have 3 years and 7 months of full-time work experience, plus 1 year education experience waiver as for now.

Given that I passed the exam in August 2021, can I start the endorsement now? If not, should I wait for Feb 2022 to start endorsement, since I have 9 months of time before my exam result expires? To me it doesn't seem worthy to apply for Associate status first and wait another year for full certification, or maybe I am wrong.

The requirement is 60 full months of related experience (or 48 full months with qualifying waiver) at time of endorsement. Associate membership can be converted to full membership anytime during the associate cycle.
