Applying for membership - Short 1 months experience

Hello, I passed my CISSP exam around three weeks ago but I am yet to apply for my member status.  I added up my work experience and it looks like I'm short now about a month.

I read that I have 9 months to apply to become a member after I pass so I was wondering what the best course of action would be... 1. Wait the extra month and apply as a full member or 2. I just apply for associate and then follow some process to become a full member after that month has passed.

Any guidance would be appreciated, Thank you.

If you're sure it's just one month you're short, and you're currently working, effectively meaning the one additional month is literally just a question of time, then I would wait.

Otherwise, you would need to go through the endorsement process twice (once as an Associate and then once more to become a full member) which is not really a big deal, but just means more admin effort on your part (and ISC2's).
