I passed my CISSP exam last week on my first attempt and got my Associate status!
I work in the product management field of the software development space. Although my product focus has been on regulatory compliance and security (IAM, authentication, etc.), I don't work as a cybersecurity professional in departments such as GRC, or IT.
That means that I won't be able to accumulate the required professional experience for the Certified status, correct?
Is there a path for people like me while remaining in the software product management profession? Thanks!
