The ISC2 Atlantic Canada Chapter is now accepting nominations for its upcoming Chapter Officers Election.
This is an opportunity for members in good standing to contribute to the continued growth and direction of the chapter while advancing cybersecurity across the Atlantic region.
We invite qualified and committed individuals to put their names forward or nominate a peer who demonstrates leadership, professionalism, and a commitment to the ISC2 Code of Ethics.
To pass through the nomination process, the nominee must:
- Be a member in good standing (including paying the $25 chapter membership fee for 2026).
- Live within the Atlantic Chapter’s boundaries.
- Have familiarity with the role, as outlined in the Chapter Handbook (pages 14 -15).
- Be free of conflicts of interest.
Nominations are being accepted for the following officer positions and are subject to an independent vetting process under the ISC2 Atlantic Canada Chapter Elections Committee:
- President,
- Vice President,
- Secretary,
- Treasurer, and
- Membership Chair (2)
Each role plays a critical part in the chapter’s governance, operations, and member engagement. Candidates should be prepared to actively participate in board activities, contribute to strategic and operational objectives, and support the delivery of professional development and community initiatives.
All nominations must be submitted by 10 May 2026 and include a brief biography, statement of interest outlining the nominee’s qualifications, and vision for the position being sought. Elections will be conducted in accordance with chapter bylaws, with voting open to eligible members.
The results will be announced at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). We encourage broad participation to ensure strong representation and continued success of the chapter.
