Call for Speakers and Volunteers for Our Upcoming 2025 Chapter Tech-Talks

Dear ISC2 Atlantic Canada Chapter Members,

We’re excited to announce our Tech-Talks for 2025, scheduled for March and September, each featuring up to four sessions of engaging content.

To make these events successful, we’re calling for speakers and volunteers to contribute their time and expertise. Specifically, we are aiming to feature insightful presentations, hands-on workshops, or interactive discussions.

We recognize that we have cybersecurity professionals within the Chapter who bring years of practical experience and, at times, are local. We aim to leverage this expertise for the benefit of all Chapter members.

By participating in the Tech-Talk sessions, you will enable chapter members to stay updated on the latest skills, methodologies, and tools in the IT Security industry, while also fulfilling ISC2's mandatory continuous learning requirements (e.g., CPE).

Here’s how you can contribute:

  1. Be a Speaker:
Share your expertise and experiences on topics that resonate with our community. Whether it’s cutting-edge technology, industry best practices, or lessons learned from challenges, your insights can inspire and educate others.

  2. Volunteer:
Help us organize and execute these events seamlessly. From coordinating logistics to moderating sessions, your support is invaluable.

How to Get Involved:

Please respond to this email by February 2, 2025 letting us know:

  • Your interest in speaking or volunteering.
  • A brief description of your proposed topic (if volunteering as a speaker).

Let’s make these Tech-Talks impactful and memorable together!

Thank you for your continued support and engagement. We look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

ISC2 Atlantic Canada Chapter

Hi. I'd like to volunteer but I am in New Brunswick, so I can only help with activities that can be done remotely. Thanks!
