Longtime member of the Dallas/Fort Worth chapter. Helped get it started 10 years ago, but I do miss in-person meetings and get togethers.

Member of the Chicago chapter, and now stepping into the membership chair spot! Working on building us a new website. We were virtual during COVID but have been back in person for a while. We need to do a bit of rebuilding because of people not having gotten back into the in person vibe yet.

One thought I have for the new website is a community events calendar! I will let users add events and I will also be able to aggregate events from different sources like meetups and so on. I figure if I can have us as the goto spot for what's going on in it will help let people know the meeting they need to be going to!

I'm figuring things out as I go!

Ps. I went looking at a lot of other chapters for ideas and one surprising things I found was how many do not have privacy policies!! I think you get what I'm saying about the SECURITY chapter site! hahahaha
