Reporting CPEs for passing other industry certifications for 2020

Hello everyone,

How many CPEs can be reported for passing a certification (i.e. CGEIT, AWS, etc) ? If so, can someone please tell me which category as I don't see the "self study" option to report the CPEs?

Google the community a bit and you might find something out about studying for certs, though.

To find answers on this question, first, hop out of this Welcome forum and go to either

CPE Opportunities

Member Support.

Next, in either area read the pinned posting,

CPE Questions: Read This First!

(the same posting is in both areas).

Reading posts in those fora, and using the Google search link William @denbesten provided, you will find that you cannot claim CPE for passing a certification exam, BUT you can, and should, claim CPE for the study you did to be able to pass it.
