Yet another "search" function oddity (again)

OK, so I was trying to find one of my recent postings. I knew what I had called it. I knew what was in the text.

Search would not find it at all.

It found all kinds of other things. Some very weird and unassociated. But not what I was looking for.

Is this possibly because I was searching on a smartphone? A previous post would indicate not. (But it seems to have something to do with it, since a search in my normal desktop Firefox window pops it right up.) I mean, we've been crabbing about the search function on this system for a long time. I suppose it's no wonder that the newbies never use it: it doesn't work.

As usual, I found it with Google, not our own search function. (Found it right off, first item on the list ...)
