Hi All

The topic of quantum computing and its threat to cybersecurity is hot, and big headlines about the impact of this threat pop up on a daily basis. In the current age of the information highway, headlines are meant to catch the eye, rather than provide valuable and understandable content. Unfortunately this is also the case in the topic of quantum risk. On a subject that combines complicated concepts like qubits, entanglement, error correction, complexity classes and more, it is easy to get confused and fall in the trap of FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt). The situation is even worse as the people who should take action (information security specialists) are usually anything but experts in the field of quantum computing.

https://medium.com/@itan.bar/what-is-it-going-to-take-to-break-cryptography-with-a-quantum-computer-7a5cc4c672f3

Happy reading

Regards

Caute_Cautim
