      <description>&lt;P&gt;Brickerbot is back with a vengeance! The new strain is called "&lt;STRONG&gt;Silex&lt;/STRONG&gt;". It's as destructive as it can get without actually frying the IoT device's circuits. Silex &lt;A href="https://www.zdnet.com/article/new-silex-malware-is-bricking-iot-devices-has-scary-plans/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;works&lt;/A&gt; by trashing an IoT device's storage, dropping firewall rules, removing the network configuration, and then halting the device. Once again, the world is shocked to find that IoT devices are vulnerable to all kinds of attacks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
