Meta fined storing user and password details in plan text.

Well, what can I say about this one. Meta, one of the largest companies to date and cant even ensure that user details are encrypted. If I was working there I would make sure that everything complied to all standards. Makes me wonder in this day and age that companies like this are not doing what needs to be done to secure data.

That is a pretty strong statement to make. It has been my experience that when working for a third party, I can make recommendations, I can yell, I an scream but ultimately, someone higher than me in the food chain dictates what happens in the long run.
