Interesting to see which one comes in first:

Sources tell KrebsOnSecurity that Microsoft Corp. is slated to release a software update on Tuesday to fix an extraordinarily serious security vulnerability in a core cryptographic component present in all versions of Windows.
The specific end of support day for Windows 7 will be January 14, 2020.

It does make you wonder if Microsoft will offer some further inducement for those on win 7, as this doesn't look like it'll play well in terms of the IT press.

The final Windows 7 patch-Tuesday has been released. It does include an update to crypt32.dll. Guessing that "end of support" happens at the end of the day (not surprising).
