OK, the Hong Kong police have arrested some more people who are (might be?) involved in the ongoing protests. (Since one of the protests possibly had a quarter of the population of Hong Kong turn out, you could grab random people off the street and have a 25% chance of getting people involved in the protests.)

Some are being charged with having the materials for making Molotov cocktails.

OK, let's think about that. If even the thought of Russian socialists makes you shiver, that might sound scary. But really, all you need for a Molotov cocktail is a bottle, some flammable liquid, and some cloth. There are some variations: in terms of fabric, cotton is probably better than nylon, in terms of liquid gas (petrol/paraffin) is better than canola, and in terms of bottles glass is way better than plastic. But the basics are pretty basic.

I mean, you could come into my house, right now, and find the makings of a Molotov cocktail. I know we have bottles in the kitchen, I'm sure that some liquid we've got in the house will burn, and I shudder to think of the total weight of textiles in the sewing room. (Or in my dresser, come to that ...)
