Kudos to the EFF, but does public shaming of tech firms work in 2019? No. Only 1% of the population care about privacy and security controls. Users needs to care more and I'm not sure this helps. America has become dull to the invasion of privacy. Tech has already won that battle with the next generation. What does Safe & Secure online teach us about protecting our privacy? Garfield is helping, but is it enough?

EFF, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which does some stellar work in the US, has created a new project, Fix It Already, challenging some of the largest tech companies to fix some basic security and privacy flaws in their products and services.
