    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://twitter.com/mikko/status/1039116879225384962" target="_blank"&gt;Trend Micro have just had most of their Mac apps turfed from the Apple Store&lt;/A&gt;.&amp;nbsp; Apparently they were storing (and forwarding) private info.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Back in the day, I reviewed a &lt;STRONG&gt;lot&lt;/STRONG&gt; of antivirus products.&amp;nbsp; I also kept tabs on the various antivirus companies.&amp;nbsp; And, over the years, even after I stopped doing formal reviews, I sorta kept and eye on things.&amp;nbsp; Trend Micro always had a habit of sailing pretty close to the ethical wind, so this comes as &lt;STRONG&gt;no&lt;/STRONG&gt; surprise to me, whatsoever.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;More &lt;A href="https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/trend-micro-apps-leak-user-data-removed-from-mac-app-store/" target="_blank"&gt;details&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
