Next-generation security challenges?

I am curious to crowdsource opinion on what the next generation of security challenges will bring.

More recently, application technologies are increasingly keeping data in-memory. i.e. never persisting to disk.

This trend, for example, creates interesting security challenges! e.g. RAM scraping malware has already been discovered by researchers.

Does anyone have any other suggested challenges, which will need creative security approaches, in the near future?
