New Thread Not on Latest?

I started a new thread on the Certification>Exam Preparation forum,

Security Engineering - An Essential Prep Reference

but it is not showing up on the home page under either Latest Topics or Latest Posts.

Is there a reason for this difference?

Interestingly, this post in Member Support is also not showing up on the Latest lists.

That was a great post. I just featured it so it is showing on the homepage now in featured posts. I received feedback from users/members that they did not want to keep seeing the same member support questions, so I am working to re-configure the homepage latest news postings. I'll make sure exam prep is included in homepage going forward.
