ISC(2),

I'm a long-time cybersecurity guru, instructor, author, and current CISSP who wishes to be granted the "Authorized" instructor designation for the CISSP. I've been teaching CISSP for the past year and cybersecurity courses in general since the 2000s.

After two phone calls to your customer service, and a week's worth of time wasted, none of your staff have called me back to go over next steps. Plus, my third phone call to you today is getting routed to an automatic call-back service only. From an organization of your stature, I expect better customer service than this.

Please get back to me so I can move forward evangelizing your products.

Nick

ISC2,

I don't understand what's going on (no replies to my post, nor call backs from customer service). Would you kindly get back to me?

Thank you,

Nick

> TheSecurityLane (Viewer) posted a new topic in Member Support on 06-26-2020

> ISC(2), Â I'm a long-time cybersecurity guru, instructor, author, and current
> CISSP who wishes to be granted the "Authorized" instructor designation for the
> CISSP. (Sorry: you *will* have to
get them to send you that.) Then you have to sit through one of the online
courses. Then I think you have to sit through one of the on-site courses (free
course, but you have to pay your own travel expenses). At that point I think you
get put into the pool.

(I was a senior instructor back in the *old* days, so I don't know the current
system too well. The "onboarding" system was a bit different back then.)

====================== (quote inserted randomly by Pegasus Mailer)
rslade@vcn.bc.ca slade@victoria.tc.ca rslade@computercrime.org
[Upon being awakened] It's bright, I'm blind, I need to sleep...
(long pause)... thank you for visiting the Blind Residence...
good bye. - TAH, 20060222
victoria.tc.ca/techrev/rms.htm http://twitter.com/rslade
http://blogs.securiteam.com/index.php/archives/author/p1/
https://community.isc2.org/t5/forums/recentpostspage/user-id/1324864413

Is this normal for them?

Well, it's certainly normal for ISC2, at this point. When I last contacted the
instructors group, a couple of years ago, they were fairly quick in response, but ...

====================== (quote inserted randomly by Pegasus Mailer)
rslade@vcn.bc.ca slade@victoria.tc.ca rslade@computercrime.org
I'm not upset that you lied to me, I'm upset that from now on I
can't believe you. - Friedrich Nietzsche
victoria.tc.ca/techrev/rms.htm http://twitter.com/rslade
http://blogs.securiteam.com/index.php/archives/author/p1/
https://community.isc2.org/t5/forums/recentpostspage/user-id/1324864413
