Annual Maintainence Fee

I wrote my SSCP exam on June 11 2020, my endorsement step is done and I’ve been asked to pay the fee of 125$. How long do I have to pay the fee. Is there a time limit?

Ajith,

You will not be actually certified until you pay the fee. If there is a time limit for you to pay it before your exam and endorsement expire, I do not know. We need @AndreaMoore or @tonyshiver to answer that question.

As for the evil laugh from Grandpa Rob @rslade he is referring to the fact you will have to pay it at the beginning of each year you wish to keep your certification valid.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Like you have mentioned, I wanted to know the time frame before my 1st AMF. Like maximum of a months time after the endorsement or something ??

I believe they allow 90 days for you to pay but the best folks to answer this would be @AndreaMoore or @tonyshiver or member support .

Considering paying the AMF is now the final part of the endorsement process, I think you could argue you get the remainder of the 9 months to pay.

There isn't really a time limit by which your first AMF must be paid. The only limitation is that after one year, you will not be able to pay your AMF online.

After one year, you would need to call Member Services so that a Customer Service Coordinator could enter your payment information manually.
