Printed CISSP Certificate after Renewal

Hello,

My renewal period just started and was wondering how I might receive a printed version from ISC2 of my certificate, similar to what I received after passing the exam. I have downloaded the digital certificate but prefer the printed version received in the mail.

Hi Chad,

It's not a question of how? It's a question of when?

When you receive the renewal email, which is usually the next business day after your renewal date, you'll be told they're sending you a new certification package and to make sure your address is set correctly in your member portal profile.

At that point the information in the standard certification package FAQ applies:

Alec,

I appreciate the response, however, my renewal was at the end of May and my AMF balance was paid in June and still have not received a package with renewed certificate.

Have you received your official "CISSP Renewal Notification" email?

As stated in the FAQ I linked previously, it can take up to 12 weeks for the certificate package to be received after you receive the official email.

If you didn't receive the email you need to contact Member Services:

I have not received a renewal notification mail. Only a receipt confirming payment of AMF.

I second Chad's question. Before the website update, a certification-holder could download a copy of their certification certificate.

I need an updated certificate, because it is requested by a prospective employer.

Please answer our query.

I wish I had answered this question for you awhile ago but I just ran across this question while looking for the same answer. It took some digging, but below is the answer with link to the source.

Q: If I have recertified, will I receive a new kit?

A: No. When you recertify (or renew your certification), you will not be sent a Welcome Kit. Welcome Kits are only sent when a certification (excluding CC) is first earned. If you would like to purchase a new kit upon recertification, you may do so by contacting MemberSupport@isc2.org. The fee for a Member Welcome Kit is U.S. $35

Chad posted his question in 2019 when they did still send out new physical certificates upon renewal.
