When is the next version of the CISSP CBK coming out?

Folllowing the task analysis survey conducted early this year, it is expected that a new version of the CBK will be released.

Does anyone knows when the planned release date is??

Are they going to have a transition period where the old exam will be available for a few months after the released of the new CBK?

The 2012 CBK was released without any early warning. Overnight people had to take the new version of the exam and the old one was no longer available. If it is going to be the case with the next version of the exam then it would be best to stop training new people on the 2012 CBK and wait for the new one to come out.

Does anyone at ISC2 give us an update?

It appears the new test will take effective April of 2018. The actual domains have not changed this time but there is some tweaking.

Hello!

For the CISSP, the new version of the exam will take over in April 2018. A new CBK will be available in Summer 2018, though I don't have an exact date yet.
