Pending CPEs

I've had 2 CPEs in "Pending" status for a few weeks. They were 1 hour web classes provided by SkillSoft.

Am I required to do anything now, or should I just sit tight (no rush here).

Pending CPEs are still in draft and haven't been submitted.

I have pending CPE's since 10-17-2018, and i wonder if these will be processed at some time. Would appreciate some feedback on the pending CPS's if possible.

No, they will not be processed until you do something. Otherwise, they will sit in pending state forever.

When you initially entered them, at some point, you clicked "save and exit", which really means "save as draft", so they are sitting there as "Pending" awaiting you to finish entering them.

You will need to "edit" the pending CPEs and keep clicking "Save and continue" until you reach a button labeled "Submit". It is only after you click "Submit" that you are done.

Alternatively, if you no longer need them, you can just delete them.

Thanks, that was the push i needed! The 'Save & exit' button coused some confusion i guess...

There is a promised rewrite due by the end of the year. Here's hoping that will include renaming that button "Save as Draft".

I would suggest that the button name "Save & Exit" is the result of letting a high left=brain colder control the screen design, instead of having a human-centered UsEx specialist work on the team. Thisis precisely the method that Micro$oft used to result in the famous first step of shutting down Windows:

"First step: click START."

'I don't want to start anything, i want to stop it all!'

This obvious failure to include the humans who actually use the system is the entire basis for the excellent book About Face: The Essentials of Interaction Design by Alan Cooper. et alia.

I recommend the book to all in IT, Computer Science, IS, cybersec, etc.
