Hello,

I've provisionally passed the SSCP exam 2 days ago.

I did not receive the email from SSCP yet about my official result yet.

- I am a bit confused how the scoring system works.

- And if any of you knows how does the ISC2 analysis will affect my score?

- Have you ever heard of anyone whose "provisional pass" was revoked after the analysis?

I know I might have to wait for an answer for 6-8 weeks, so it would be great to have some information about what to expect.

Thanks.

Provisional pass just means that ISC2 is looking at the psychometrics and forensics on your answers and evaluating them. This is done to prevent exam fraud such as use of ‘brain dumps’(stolen exam questions) etc by candidates. I’ve never heard of anyone having a pass revoked(all passes are provisional/I haven’t gone looking either), and your score doesn’t matter beyond pass/fail.

I would wait out the time and then reach out after a couple of months if you haven't heard back. Congrats!

https://www.isc2.org/exams/after-your-exam
