I am seeking volunteers to participate in a doctoral research study on prioritizing risks associated with ransomware in the healthcare industry.

The purpose of the research is to explore risk management strategies for reducing ransomware risks in healthcare.

This study is part of the researcher's doctoral education program. The study aims to support healthcare cybersecurity professionals in countering ransomware attacks. As cyber threats continue to evolve, healthcare organizations must prioritize their risks and allocate resources accordingly.

Who benefits: Future researchers, cybersecurity professionals, administrators, and leaders at healthcare organizations.

Explanation of study procedures: Conduct a 45 to 60-minute virtual interview to discuss participants’ perceptions and experiences with ransomware risk prioritization.

Participant inclusion criteria:

3 or more years in Cybersecurity,
Experience in Healthcare, and
Experience with making information technology risk-based decisions (risk identification, assessment, reporting, and/or prioritization)

Participant exclusion criteria:

Have no experience in information technology.
